The work we do at UOB isn’t just about the people we help. It’s also about inspiring churches to see that they can bring hope to their community. Local churches, after all, are God’s hands and feet on earth, and one of our objectives at UOB is to support and empower churches to be all that God has called them to be in reaching out to those in desperate need.

• consider collecting food and other household essentials for our foodbank? This could be at Harvest time or on a regular basis.
• like someone to come and speak at one of your services or talk to a group? We can help you raise awareness of homelessness and poverty in our town, and what you can do to help make a difference – bringing joy and hope to the lives of those who are really struggling.
• like to get involved in collecting items to make up the hampers we distribute just before Christmas?
• like to learn more about volunteering opportunities with us?
• like to explore how we can reach out together and support those who are struggling in your community?
• like to organise a fundraising activity to support our work?
