Jeanette
Jeanette came to Urban Outreach in August 2018 from a busy Methodist Circuit where she had been administrator for nine years. Before that she spent fourteen years as a Claims Advisor for a multi-national insurance company. Jeanette’s aim as team administrator is to ensure that everybody who comes into contact with us feels valued and appreciated.
Maisie
Maisie joined us in October 2023 to help primarily with the Friends of Fun Food project. Having moved back to the North West after university, she completed a master’s degree in Food Security, where she saw the scale of food poverty and hunger in the UK. This sparked a desire to help people in this way, volunteering at several different foodbanks and community food projects before she began working at Urban Outreach on the food team.
Dom
Dom joined the Food Team in January 2024. Dom has a PhD in theology and has a special interest in theologies of social justice and community building. He also has a diploma in making coffee and so is qualified to make a decent brew.
Nigel
After serving in pastoral ministry for over 20 years, and then as Youth and Community Worker at Deane Church while running his photography business, Nigel joined UOB in February 2026. He has a BA degree in Applied Theology, is married to Jo and has two amazing daughters who are studying hard and keeping him on his toes!
