About

Rise stands for “Reaching Inside Strengthening Emotions”. Urban Outreach were first commissioned by Bolton Together to offer emotional therapeutic support to young people in 2021. Our RISE team recognises that mental and emotional health is a huge factor in a range of issues for children and their families. The team are very experienced in working with children and young people and are all committed to making sure children have the best support to move on positively with their lives.

What we do
We are able to offer various packages of support with young people around understanding well-being and strategies to help. There is also provision for parenting support to improve resilience and emotional health and to encourage positive change. One to one and group sessions include exploration and advice around issues such as anxiety, friendships, self-esteem, anger, self-care and emotional regulation.
RISE work collaboratively with the wider Bolton Together consortium to follow best practice.
RISE will aim to see the child in an environment that suits them, whether it is the home, school, our offices, or elsewhere in the community.
