About

Following on from our extensive experience of working with children reported missing from home, No Hiding Place was established in June 2024 thanks to funding from Bolton Together to support children at risk of Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE).
CCE and County Lines activity has been on the rise in the last 18 months across our town with more children going missing for longer, being found further from home and being more likely to get involved in the illegal movement of drugs and knives. No Hiding Place aims to shine a light on this issue, bringing it out the shadows in which it thrives. We firmly believe that by providing a language to this issue and enabling communities and individuals to speak up about it reduces the risk of it being normalised and perpetuated throughout the town.

What we do
Thanks to funding from Bolton Together, No Hiding Place can offer both 1:1 support for children at risk of CCE. This 1:1 support aims to empower the child with the knowledge to define CCE, recognise its signs, build safety plans to protect them, and be able to spread awareness with their own peer groups.
No Hiding Place also delivers group sessions to primary schools, high schools and youth groups to raise awareness and shine a light on CCE.
This project is currently limited to supporting children with a link to the Breightmet and Halliwell areas of Bolton.
