Available Role – Food Services Team: Local Welfare Provision Worker
We are looking for a compassionate and highly motivated individual to join our Local Welfare Provision Project. The project focuses on the provision of emergency food and utility top-ups for families in need whilst also developing a community that inhabits wider holistic support. The job involves front-of-house delivery of vital food and utility add-ons as well as strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail and a heart for community.
The job also includes signposting service users to overcome the difficulties they are facing, make positive life-style changes to reduce the risk of further issues arising and to live healthy, safe and rewarding lives. It involves the provision of a safe space with a listening ear.

Hours and salary
This position is part time (20hrs per week). The full-time salary for this position is £22,970 pa (based on a full time 35 hour working week).
Our Recruitment and Selection Process
In the first instance we will carefully consider all the applications that we receive and shortlist candidates. We will invite those that we consider may be suitable for the post to interview.
